Are you a motivated individual who is keen on supporting a LIFE project and gaining experience in the field of livestock protection? The Institute for Regional Development of Eurac Research is looking for a trainee to support activities connected to the LIFEstockProtect project, collect and manage data referring to the topic of livestock protection and assist in local project coordination. Specific tasks and requirements
Tasks:
- Support in the coordination and implementation of projects actions in South Tyrol
- Data collection and evaluation, esp. on European and national funding possibilities for livestock protection, human dimension in wildlife conflicts and stakeholder analysis
- Support for the organization of trainings and workshops
- Meetings with farmers and shepherds
- Writing of blog articles about project activities
- Support in writing scientific articles regarding the project and the topic
Requirements:
- BA or MA in environmental science, wildlife management, environmental economics or politics, agriculture
- Very good knowledge of written and oral English
- Very good knowledge of Italian and German
- Very good knowledge of Office 365
- Basic WordPress skills of advantage
