E.1 Communication and dissemination plan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Communication plays a crucial role in mitigating human-wildlife conflicts, especially for situations involving wolves and livestock owners. We will implement a coordinated, structured and effective communication plan, which has the objective to optimize (inter)national communication efforts throughout and beyond the project duration. This includes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • A project communication and dissemination strategy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A visual identity and brand manual<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A publication and dissemination package<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Web & Social Media communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    E.2 Networking and media work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Networking activities with other projects are very important to establish synergies, collaborations and effective outreach regarding livestock protection in the Alps and beyond. This will be done through other projects’ events, organizing meetings, and active online information exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We have native German, Italian and English speakers to coordinate media work within the project area. Our network of media relations will be informed on a regular basis about project updates. We will also inform the most influential media (i.e. television, newspapers and radio) through press conferences on important project milestones.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    E.3 Project replication and transfer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To boost the replication of best practices that this LIFE project yields in other regions, the project will engage with at least 10 organisations outside the project region. We will identify the most promising organisations and analyse together in workshops how the project can assist replication elsewhere. This will be done during the thematic conferences mentioned below.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n


    E.4 Thematic conferences<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Public conferences a great way to share knowledge and experiences of the project with target audiences and stakeholders. Besides a kick-off conference, we will also organize three thematic conferences that will be at least a 3-day event, including a excursion to see different types of protection measures implemented in the field. Foreseen participants, besides the stakeholder groups continuously engaged in the project, will be local
    citizens and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A final conference will present the outcomes of the project actions, highlighting the achievements, best practices, and how the project was able to address the identified challenges of livestock protection implementation.<\/p>\n<\/div>
