Il programma di formazione per cani da fiuto per la conservazione della natura ha suscitato grande interesse. Dopo aver ultimato il programma di formazione all’inizio dell’anno, siamo stati in grado di invitare i potenziali partecipanti a un primo incontro virtuale. Il 3 marzo 2021 si \u00e8 quindi svolta la prima riunione di coordinamento per l’addestramento delle squadre di cani da fiuto, affettuosamente conosciuti da molti come cani da fiuto per i lupi. <\/p>\n\n

L’obiettivo principale era quello di dare ai 17 interessati provenienti da Austria, Germania e Alto Adige l’opportunit\u00e0 di conoscere i formatori nel vero senso della parola. Chi sei? Che tipo di cane hai? Che lavoro hai fatto con il tuo cane? <\/em> Questo ha dimostrato che non solo c’\u00e8 una grande variet\u00e0 di cani e persone in questo gruppo, ma anche una grande quantit\u00e0 di esperienze e competenze precedenti. <\/p>\n\n

Abbiamo discusso in dettaglio il programma di formazione e la struttura dei moduli teorici e pratici. Inizialmente inizieremo con le parti teoriche online e organizzeremo corsi pratici in Austria e Baviera il prima possibile. La parte teorica inizier\u00e0 il 10 marzo 2021 con un webinar online sul tema “Orientamento sul campo”.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n

Cane da fiuto come aiuto nelle emergenze <\/h3>\n\n

Il senso dell’olfatto dei cani li rende i soccorritori ideali. Se si sospetta la presenza di un lupo nelle vicinanze o addirittura un attacco, i cani da fiuto possono rilevare in modo rapido ed efficiente la presenza o l’assenza del lupo. In questo modo gli allevatori possono avere chiarezza senza dover aspettare le analisi del DNA. Inoltre, \u00e8 possibile attuare rapidamente misure efficaci di protezione del bestiame. <\/p>\n\n

E cosa serve per essere un buon cane da fiuto? Da un lato un cane ben addestrato, dall’altro un uomo ben addestrato. I cani vengono addestrati in modo che si divertano nel loro lavoro, che trovino piacere nello svolgere i loro compiti. La motivazione \u00e8 la chiave di volta.
