From January 21 to 23, the LIFEstockProtect team will be exhibiting at the LIFE Eurolargecarnivores project’s livestock protection conference and will be available for questions and answers.
The Livestock Protection Conference will take place from January 21 – 23, 2020 at the Heffterhof in Salzburg. During the three days of the event, a range of speakers will cover everything to do with livestock protection.
Participants can learn more about the following topics:
- Practical examples of livestock protection
- Influence of fences on wolves, grazing animals and wildlife
- Funding by the EU and member states
- Alternative herd protection measures
- Livestock guarding dogs
- Everyday working life and training of shepherds
