The Salern Herd Protection Days are approaching – be there!
As we have already reported once, the LIFEstockProtect conference is taking place in South Tyrol this year.

What can you expect?
The Salern Herd Protection Days are all about Shepherds and their work with Livestock. Look forward to:
- Exciting presentations and practical demonstrations: Find out more about occupational requirements, animal health and how herd protection measures work.
- Livestock guarding dogs in focus: Learn all about the breeding, keeping and working methods of these fascinating dogs.
- Experience reports and discussions: Hear from experts about guided grazing, contract nature conservation and the future of livestock grazing. Join the discussion and share your experiences.
Who organizes the whole thing?
The event is part of the EU-LIFE project LIFEstockProtect, and Eurac Research from South Tyrol is taking care of the organization.
