The 2023 grazing season is just around the corner and we are now again looking for volunteers who want to help livestock farmers and shepherds implement herd protection measures.
Volunteering will be possible on summer pastures in the mountains or directly on the home farm in the valley. The commitment ranges from 1-day volunteering to several weeks commitment- depending on your availability and the demand among pastoralists and herders. You support shepherds or livestock farmers in their daily tasks: Setting up/dismantling and checking the livestock protection fences, pasture maintenance, herding the animals, raising awareness among tourists and much more.
